It’s In Our DNA is designed for Year 6 students as they continue to explore their identity, develop meaningful friendships, and embrace their unique strengths. This stage of school is a time of self-discovery, and the programme helps students strengthen their sense of self while learning how to build strong, positive connections with those around them.
Through engaging team-building activities, open discussions, and practical strategies, students explore the importance of building healthy relationships, resolving conflicts, and putting others first. The programme empowers students to manage interpersonal challenges with resilience and integrity, and to approach school life with a positive, solution-focused mindset. Students also explore how to unlock their passions, set meaningful goals, and stay motivated through personal reflection.
By the end of the programme, students will have developed a deeper understanding of their personal identity, their passions, and how they can contribute to a positive school community. They will walk away with practical tools to build supportive friendships, navigate challenges with confidence, and set goals that align with their personal values and aspirations.
